My Medium-Long term plan

Well, I have the PPL, a fair amount of hour building and the ATPL examinatins out of the way.
In January I start my Commercial license and Instrument Rating in Jerez, Spain. This should take around 3 months.
I will then become join the ranks of unemployed pilots. ;-)
Actually having said that, I am glad that I held off the training as long as I did because it does seem like the job market for pilots is picking up and bar any other terror problemsI will definitely be in a better position than I would have been otherwise.
If after a few months, I haven't found any work then I will get an instructor's rating and build some hours that way while keeping my ear to the ground for any other jobs going.
Any chance I get to go kitesurfing during this time will be a bonus. A wonderful, joyous bonus.
I might also get around to putting more pictures in this diary. You never know.

unemployed pilot friend of mine actually resorted to starting their own small air service... stole all of the customers from the guy who dissed them... ended up pretty cool, but he's busy like crazy
