Where to live in Bournemouth?
I'm down in Bournemouth looking for somewhere to live. I start my course on Monday and aim to move in on Sunday, so I have to find somewhere pretty quick.
I've just looked at three places and can't decide between two of them. I'll try and work out the +ves and -ves here. Hopefully typing aloud may help me make a decision and it might be interesting 3 months down the line when I realise I have moved in with psychopath lunatics.
House 1: Is a student house and is as you would expect. 4 (I think) others live there and are mostly final years and mostly keep themselves to themselves. A double room with an adequate kitchen and a garden. It is £55pw inc bills.
+ves:
Cheap / It has a garden(to dry kites on) / The landlady+lord have a speedboat and waterski!! and go out often May onwards.
-ves
Student house and will be louder for working / Not exactly luxury accommodation
House 2: Is a flat shared with a young and pleasant couple. It's landlords(not the couple) are a pair of gay interior decorators and the flat is amazing, if a little gay. It is £70pw exc bills.
+ves
Nice Decor / An amazing bathroom+lounge / Quieter for studying
-ves
More expensive(by about £500 over the 6 months) / No garden / No wakeboarding landlord+lady
Aaahhhh. It's a hard one. I think I would be fairly happy with either one, so that is good. Also bournemouth from first impressions looks ace. Lovely beaches.
Wish me luck in choosing.
