One week till final exams

I have just noticed that if I don't hit the "republish" button after posting an entry, it isn't updated to "ed's ways of flying". Mistake learnt.


Not long to go till this course is over. Now that the end is in sight, I am looking forward to finishing and doing a bit of flying again.

We have 5 exams in this sitting.

1. Principles of Flight which should be fine.
2. General Navigation which will be tight on time, most people struggle to finish but otherwise should be ok.
3. Meteorology could be a bit of a struggle. Our lecturer has had to cover someone else who was taken ill and unfortunately, met isn't one of his subjects. In fact, I would be willing to wager that if he took the exam he wouldn't come in the top third of the class. Sad really as he is a nice guy in a harsh situation and it is plain cringe worthy when he is asked questions that clearly he doesn't know the answer to. Annoying in an inexact subject where definitive answers to queries would be especially useful.
4. VFR Communications and
5. IFR Communications where the main danger is complacency.

Anyhow, best go and crack on with some revision.
